Swords of Blood - Hack-and-Slash RPG - Game Review
Game Information, Gameplay, Images and Videos
Swords of Blood is an upcoming mobile and PC game that will build on Artifex Mundi's 2019 award-winning mobile game. The game promises to be fun because it has fast-paced battles, beautiful graphics, and a deep story. It has a free-to-play model and a pay-to-own model. The goal is to give players fun and entertainment. Also, the game can be played on both mobile and PC platforms because it is cross-platform. Hit Box Games LLC, which is run by Artifex Mundi's CEO and game director, has bought the rights to publish and change Swords of Blood, the original mobile game.
Swords of Blood is a free-to-play game and lowers the entry barriers for all gamers, unlike other play-to-earn games. Also, the game doesn't need to be connected to a wallet; it creates a custodial wallet for its players automatically. This will tremendously help traditional gamers play the game without spending any money on it and earning hard cash. The game offers several ways to earn money, like taking part in and winning a tournament, game grinding, and getting lucky. However, the team behind Swords of Blood views the game’s fun part as a significant reason to boost long-term player retention. Let's take a look at the game's various features and how players can earn money by playing it.
Swords of Blood Review
The game is a hard hack-and-slash role-playing game with monsters, dungeons, and stories from mythology. The players will fight demons, beasts, goblins, wizards, assassins, and seahorses that can fly. As a warrior, you can raid dungeons, avoid traps, get loot, fight enemies, and eventually become a god of war. The game also has a lot of interesting places to visit, such as swamps, mines, forests, ancient ruins, ice caverns, and many more.
So, as a player, you will go into many dungeons that are full of enemies, dangers, and bosses. You can get player gear, weapons, money, magic, and other resources by taking control of dungeons. NFTs are game items that can be traded in markets for other things.
Storyline:
In Eketh's early history, The Order was founded by The Ancient, a mysterious god associated with the World Tree and humanity's guardian according to Ancient's Heretics. Initially tasked with protecting the Sentinel, chosen warriors gained extraordinary powers from the Tree's energy. As the old gods faded, The Order grew but faced a rebellion, fracturing its ranks. During Melboch's betrayal, the Bladebound Order fell, and darkness reigned. Resurrected by the Sentinel, you are the last Bladebound seeking to bring hope to a desolate land ravaged by the Dragon Betrayer's armies.
Gameplay:
Players delve into dungeons, battling monsters, bosses, and traps. Successful runs yield rewards like gear, weapons, and resources. These can be used to upgrade equipment, craft new items, or sold as NFTs. And the cycle continues with more challenging dungeons. The game offers a variety of leaderboard-based game modes and plans to introduce synchronous PVP and Co-op modes, including deathmatch (MOBA-style), team deathmatch, boss raids, and clan wars. These modes provide diverse multiplayer experiences with competitive tournaments and cooperative battles against bosses and rival clans.
Tokenomics:
Players can earn $SWDTKN tokens by participating in tournaments, with higher leaderboard ranks offering larger rewards. However, to progress in hero levels, access certain PvE/PvP content, upgrade items, and participate in tournaments, players must purchase $SWDTKN tokens. In essence, acquiring these tokens is crucial for enjoying the late-game content and fully engaging with the game.
Community Response
- SalazarX: I'm really excited about the variety of game modes, including PvP and co-op, sounds like a blast.
- Retousie717: I have been following the SWDTKN token presale and it shows promise. Count me in.
- MoriartyPat: While I understand the need for in-game purchases like $SWDTKN tokens, I hope the game provides a fair balance for players who prefer a more casual experience.
